A week has passed since the last Salsa Nite at Union Square at Amara Hotel....
Gosh time flies when you are not noticing it ....
Tonite was ok.... din dance much cos got a bad sore throat.... cud hardly speak.... but got to know the guys better cos the gals din turn up ... only joyce and mingli went and later saulin and lifang showed up....first time gals in demand... haaaa
Hmm seems this will be my shortest blog..... but something Joe said tonite made a deep impression on me:
...."there is no finished product, improvements will keep piling ontop of each other... so there is no better time than now.... enjoy the process and not look fervently for the distant future where you may or may not even make the first step...."
Maybe its the way he said it ... well he is 41 this year but looks younger(ard 35-36).... the sincerity and the "layers of experience" inside that short statement can be felt by me .... i dunno about others but it struck a chord in me definitely.... sometimes...maybe alot of times for me... i m just waiting for the perfect time to do things....the deadly PROCRASTINATION disease seems to be invading my system now and then..... maybe Joe is right,.... there is no next time once precious time is lost....anything not done within the window of opportunity will never be completely done.... hmmm....food for thought...
another nite to ponder....
